A spitting device in an inkjet head is provided to form a platen including a fixed part having an ink outlet and a movable part having a printing medium guide rib and to move the movable part out of an ejecting area of a nozzle unit to prevent the printing medium guide rib from being contaminated due to ink. A spitting device in an inkjet head includes an array type inkjet head(110) having a nozzle unit(112), and a platen(120) disposed to be spaced apart from and to face the nozzle unit of the inkjet head, having an ink outlet(121a) and a printing medium guide rib, and to support the rear side of a printing medium. The platen includes a first platen and a second platen(122) movably coupled with the first platen and having a second printing medium guide rib(122a). The ink outlet is formed at a position of the first platen corresponding to the nozzle unit. The first platen further includes a first printing medium guide rib(121b). A surface of the first platen to face the nozzle unit has two stepped surfaces, and the upper one of the stepped surfaces is formed with the first printing medium guide rib, and the lower one thereof is formed with the ink outlet.
