CIRCUIT FOR LIGHTING-START

A circuit for lighting a lamp is provided to repeatedly apply a lighting voltage many times by delaying time for a discharging voltage of a condenser of an output terminal of a comparator to reach a predetermined value through an output delay part. In a circuit for lighting a lamp, drivers are driven by a control pulse of a controller. An inverter has a transformer. The transformer transforms DC power to AC power. The DC power is intermitted by the drivers. The lamp is lighted by the inverter. A current detect unit detects current flowing in the lamp when the drivers are driven by the control pulse of the controller for lighting. A start signal generating unit(50) inputs a start signal to the controller. The start signal generates the control pulse from the controller when the current is not detected by the current detect unit. An output delay part(40) repeatedly generates the start signal generated from the start signal generating unit(50) for a predetermined time.
