A method for purchasing audio contents of DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) is provided to enable a user to conveniently purchase music online/offline by displaying a menu screen for purchasing the music received through the DMB and performing an interface operation with a server providing music contents through the interactive network like the wireless Internet if the user requests purchase of the music through the menu screen. A signal of audio data received through the DMB is processed and output, and data received together with the audio data is temporarily stored(S11). The menu screen of the audio data is displayed by reading and reproducing the temporarily stored data according to a user request(S13). If the purchase of the audio data is requested through the menu screen, the audio data is downloaded by performing the interface operation with the server providing the content of the audio data through the interactive network different from the DMB(S18).
