A drum type washing machine with a dryer is provided to simplify the structure of the front tub and minimize the effect caused by the remaining water by having the front tub formed with the draining port and the rear tub formed with the slope part. A drum type washing machine with a dryer comprises a tub(10) installed at a cabinet(2) and formed with a water supply port(14) and a draining port(16); a drum(30) rotatably placed in the tub to receive the laundry and formed with a hole(32) where the water and air pass; a drying apparatus(50) connected to the tub to dry the laundry in the drum; and a temperature sensor(22) mounted in the tub to judge the degree of dryness. The tub is formed with a slope part(23) placed between the vicinity of the temperature sensor and the draining port to guide the remaining water near the temperature sensor to the draining port. The tub contains front and rear tubs(18,20).
