<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of hindering a cam gear from rotating certainly in the locked condition. <P>SOLUTION: The steering lock device 1 is equipped with a lock body 10, a key cylinder 20, and a lock unit. The lock unit is configured so that a cam gear 32, a lock bar 33, a spring 34, and a slider 35 are installed in the specified positions on a sub-body 31. Also the lock unit is furnished with a cam shaft 41 and a spring 42, and further with a lock pin 51, a spring 52, and a cover 53, which 51, 52, 53 are concealed within the lock body 10 by accommodating the lock unit in the lock body 10.
