摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire information on the frequency dependence of sound velocity in an object under inspection for more accurately grasping the physical characteristics of the object under inspection. SOLUTION: A transducer 14 applies an ultrasonic wave to biological tissue 21 by being pulse-excited while receiving a reflected wave from the biological tissue 21. A CPU 31 performs deconvolution processing by using a reflected wave from a glass substrate 20 to correct the reflected wave from the biological tissue 21. The CPU 31 separates, in a time domain, a reflected wave by the front surface of the biological tissue 21 and a reflected wave by the rear surface thereof from the corrected reflected wave. The CPU 31 analyzes, in respective frequency domains, the respective reflected waves which are separated, thereby calculating sound velocities corresponding to frequencies in the biological tissue 21.
