<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor for a seat belt capable of smoothly and surely taking up a webbing without causing trouble with mountability of a belt. <P>SOLUTION: The retractor for the seat belt is equipped with a spool which has a webbing take-up part which is rotatably supported on a housing with a rotary shaft, and takes up the webbing, and a flange which is provided on both ends of the webbing take-up part and extended to the outside in the radial direction of the rotary shaft, and a take-up force energizing means which always applies a rotational energizing force in the take-up direction of the webbing relative to the spool. The retractor for the seat belt is equipped with a braking member wherein one end is rotatably supported on the housing, the other end is disposed in the pulling direction of the webbing from the one end, and always contact to the flange, and the braking member abuts to the webbing when the webbing is taken up with the webbing take-up part by a predetermined amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
