PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving unit which can be miniaturized and can attain high output and also reduce parts and cost. SOLUTION: This driving unit is equipped with a magnet 1, which has magnetizing parts 1a-1d, a coil 2, a bobbin 3, a first stator 4, which has outer magnetic pole parts 4a and 4b, a rotor 5 which has an inner magnetic pole part 5a, a bearing 6, and a second stator 7 which has yoke parts 7a and 7b. The outer magnetic pole parts 4a and 4b of the first stator 4 and the yoke parts 7a and 7b of the second stator 7 are shaped like teeth in parallel with the axis of the magnet 1. The outer magnetic pole parts 4a and 4b of the first stator 4 and the yoke parts 7a and 7b of the second stator 7 are fixed in the grooves of the hollow cylinder 3e of the bobbin 3, and the second stator 7 regulates the axial position of the rotor 5. The coil 2 excites the first stator 4 and the second stator 7 so that the polarity of the yoke parts 7a and 7b of the second stator 7 may be different from that of the outer magnetic pole parts 4a and 4b of the first stator 4.
