PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor for stably supplying a ramp signal, if the illuminance is the same, in adaption for the variations in the outside environment. SOLUTION: In the image sensor, a ramp signal formation portion compares a digital target code with a references code, and the comparison result forms the ramp signal and feeds back generated ramp signal VRAMP to a CDS circuit array in a main single inclination ADC and a single inclination ADC in a ramp signal generating portion, at the same time. The fed-back ramp signal is calibrated persistent manner, in a direction corresponding to the digital target code which the digital reference code to the analog reference voltage has been fed back from consecutive processor. Thus, the formed ramp signal is proofread and supplied accommodatingly to each collar by the analog gain controlled by 4 collar channels or 2 channels at a time, respectively.
