PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube 11 which can reduce X-ray generation outside a focus on a cathode 15 by reducing rebound electrons 29 at an anode target 18 directed toward the cathode 15. SOLUTION: Electrons (e) which are emitted from the cathode 15 pass through an electron passing aperture 24 of a regulator 21 and collide against the anode target 18, thereby emitting X-ray 20 from the anode target 18. The X-ray 20 generated on the anode target 18 is radiated outside through a space between the anode target 18 and the regulator 21, and via an output window 28 of a vacuum envelope 12. The rebound electrons 29 at the anode target 18 is reduced by regulating them with the regulator 21, thereby reducing the X-ray generation outside the focus on the cathode 15.
