PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element superior in productivity, and having the long service life, without uneven luminance of the light-emitting surface, and to provide a display superior in color reproducibility that uses the organic EL element. SOLUTION: This organic EL element is characterized in that a positive electrode has a plurality of initial power receiving parts for receiving and supplying electric power via auxiliary wiring, and is characterized, as having two initial power receiving parts arranged so as to become symmetric with respect to the center of the light emitting surface.
