PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing at least two incompatible thermoplastic polymers and at least one compatibilizing agent, a method for producing the composition, and the composition for the manufacture of thermoplastic articles or semi-finished products particularly having improved mechanical properties. SOLUTION: The polymeric compatibilizing agent contains at least two groups consisting of a polar unit and a nonpolar unit compatible with the respective polymers and includes a hot compounding reaction product of the compatibilizing agent of a crosslinkable state with the thermoplastic polymers in the presence of a crosslinking system in a manner that only the compatibilizing agent is crosslinked in the composition.
