PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single axis manual fastening device capable of executing screw-feeding by converting rotary force imparted to a rotary spindle into inertia force and taking out high speed rotation from an output side by utilizing the inertia force, while making the most of the advantage of low torque which is a characteristic of manual operation. SOLUTION: A rachet gear outer peripheral member 32 of a rachet gear 3 is fixed to one side side face of a ring-shaped body 1. One side end part of a joint 5 is fixed to an opposite side face of the ring-shaped body 1. The joint 5 is provided with a socket inserting part 2 at a position on an extension of a center shaft of the ring-shaped body 1. A rachet gear inner peripheral member 31 of the rachet gear 3 is fixed to an outer periphery of a rotary spindle 4. By imparting rotary force to the rotary spindle 4, the socket inserting part 2 is rotated and driven via the rachet gear 3, the ring-shaped body 1 and the joint 5.
