A trailing arm mounting structure for a vehicle is provided to properly relieve a shock of rear-end collision of the vehicle, being transmitted through a trailing arm, and guarantee safety for passengers by fundamentally preventing a fire of the vehicle. A trailing arm mounting structure for a vehicle comprises an upper mounting bracket(1) and a lower mounting bracket(2). A leading end of a trailing arm(3) is pivotably inserted in the upper mounting bracket. The upper mounting bracket is inserted in the lower mounting bracket, thereby forming a closed sectional surface. The upper mounting bracket comprises an upper front slope surface(1a), an upper bottom surface(1b) continued from the upper front slope surface, both upper side surfaces(1c) extended from both edges of the bottom surface and both edges of the slope surface, and an upper fixing projection(1d) formed at an upper end of the upper front slope surface and engaged with the lower mounting bracket. The lower mounting bracket comprises a lower front slope surface(2a), both lower side surfaces(2b) continued from both side edges of the lower front slope surface, and a lower fixing projection formed at an upper end of the lower front slope surface. |
