A dental panoramic x-ray apparatus is provided to obtain an accurate x-ray image of a patient by displaying a text or an image representing instructions to the patient. A dental panoramic x-ray apparatus includes a screen(210) and a guide unit(230). The screen is coupled with one surface of the panoramic x-ray apparatus. A guide for aligning head portions of patients is displayed on the guide unit on the screen. An image of the patient at an imaging position is displayed on the screen. The screen includes a front panel, a reflective film, and a lighting unit. The reflective film is coupled with a rear surface of the front panel. The lighting unit irradiates light on the rear surface of the reflective film corresponding to the position of the guide unit.
