摘要 A method for generating a calibration value for a tracking error signal in an optical disc drive comprises the steps of performing a plurality of N jumps towards respective target tracks of an optical disc inserted in said optical disc drive; in each jump, calculating a one-jump normalization value; calculating a multi-jump calibration value on the basis of the plurality of N one jump normalization values obtained from the respective jumps.
