An apparatus for preheating a heating water of an automatic coal boiler is provided to dramatically increase heat efficiency by maximally utilizing radiation heat radiated from a combustion furnace. An apparatus for preheating a heating water of an automatic coal boiler includes a preheating vessel(1), a boiler main body(2), a combustion furnace(8), a heat exchange tank(3), and a preheating pipe. The preheating vessel is formed around the boiler main body. The boiler main body has the combustion furnace. The combustion furnace is installed in a combustion chamber. The heat exchange tank heats water by burning coal automatically supplied into the combustion furnace and then forcedly discharges the coal ash to the exterior of the boiler main body. The preheating vessel is partitioned by an inner wall and an outer wall of the boiler main body. The preheating pipes are buried in the preheating vessel at predetermined intervals and the intervals are filled with an aggregate.
