<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information proper for traveling a mobile object in the case of receiving emergency information contained in digital terrestrial broadcasting in the mobile object. <P>SOLUTION: At the occurrence of the emergency information represented by disaster information in a TMCC signal contained in digital broadcasting sent from a broadcasting station, an in-vehicle receiver outputs data broadcasting about the emergency information received by the digital broadcasting to a navigation system to output it on a monitor. The output picture of the monitor can be switched automatically from a navigation picture to a data broadcasting picture. Two kinds of pictures composed of the data broadcasting picture and the navigation picture can be displayed simultaneously. It is also possible to transmit the position of its own vehicle obtained by a GPS, a time when calculating the position, information for identifying the vehicle, information about an abnormality of the vehicle, and data obtained by imaging the situation of the surrounding of the vehicle to a server device managing the disaster information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
