<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of reliably protecting legs of a pedestrian collided with a front side of a vehicle and preventing the occurrence of damages of the vehicle caused by a light collision with the front side of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A leg sweeping member 16 for sweeping legs of a pedestrian collided with a front side of a vehicle is fixed to a vehicular structural member 44 by fixing mechanisms 52, 72, 74. When a predetermined collision object including the pedestrian is collided with the front side of the vehicle and advanced to the rear side of the vehicle from the position of collision over the predetermined reference amount with respect to the vehicle, the leg sweeping member 16 is unfixed from the structural member 44 by the fixing mechanisms 52, 72, 74. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
