<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service search system and a communication system that can detect and exclude invalid services and present only valid services to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A task model database 101 and a service knowledge database 102 associate and store tasks representing a user's actions and service URIs for providing services for the user. The task model database 101 receives a single task to be searched from a communication terminal 500 via a network, and the service knowledge database 102 extracts service URIs corresponding to the received single task.
