<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation apparatus, an installation method, and an installation program for selectively installing the driver program of a peripheral device whose use is considered as a suitable selection in each remote client present on a network. <P>SOLUTION: When a client 12-1 detects remote clients 12-2 to 12-8 present on the network, acquires information relative to a peripheral apparatus 16 suitable to be used for each of the remote clients 12-2 to 12-8 from a server 14 and specifies the peripheral apparatus 16 in each of the remote clients 12-2 to 12-8 on the basis of the information, the driver program of the peripheral apparatus 16 is installed in each of specified remote clients 12-2 to 12-8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
