PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that has high rigidity, high heat resistance, excellent toughness, welding strength retention, dimensional property, surface appearance and re-working property with physically well balance. SOLUTION: The platelet apatite-reinforced resin composition comprises a resin and platelet apatite in which the amount of apatite can be represented by the formula in molar ratio with (Ca + X)/P (wherein Ca is calcium, P is phosphorus and X is other metals) = 1.41 to 1.61 and the average thickness (d) is less than 100 nm.
