PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a motor capable of both power generation and driving. SOLUTION: The motor for both power generation and driving comprises a stator 11 having a superconducting field coil 16, a power generating rotor 12 arranged oppositely to the superconducting field coil 16 and having an armature coil 22 connected with a power output line 29, a power generating input shaft 27 secured to the power generating rotor 12 and to which a rotational power is transmitted externally, a driving rotor 13 arranged oppositely to the superconducting field coil 16 and having an armature coil 25 connected with a power input line 30, and a driving output shaft 28 secured to the driving rotor 13 and rotating independently from the power generating input shaft 27.
