PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm whether or not a gas meter connected to each radio unit is connected to peripheral apparatuses in the state where information can be transferred by radio, by a connection confirmation signal of the gas meter. SOLUTION: When a gas leak alarm unit 4 is connected to a radio slave unit 3, the effect is discriminated by the radio slave unit 3. Then, sequentially therewith, the interval between ports Pi, Po of a radio master unit 2 connected to connection terminals 1i, 1o of a gas leak alarm unit from which the connection confirmation signal of the gas meter 1 is output is put into a closed loop by closing of a switching transistor TR interposed on a line L for connecting them. Hereby, the connection confirmation signal output from the gas meter 1 is returned again to the connection terminals 1i, 1o and detected by the gas meter 1, to thereby recognize that the gas meter 1 is connected to the gas leak alarm unit 4 in the state where an information signal can be transferred.
