PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding device 26 with which the reciprocating rolling of bar steel is possible without generating appearance defect. SOLUTION: This guiding device 26 is provided with the main body 28, fixing shafts 30 and a pair of side-part guiding blocks 32 which are extended in the guiding direction of the bar steel. The side-part guiding block 32 is provided with a shaft hole 42 into which the fixing shaft 30 is inserted, a mill-side part 44 which is extended in the direction of a reversing mill 10 from this shaft hole 42 and an anti-mill-side part 46 which is extended in the opposite side. This mill-side part 44 is provided with a guide roller 50. This side-part guiding block 32 is constituted so as to be rotated in the horizontal direction by taking the fixing shaft 30 as a supporting point. A guide clearance formed between the right and left side-part guide blocks 32 is constituted so as to be minimized in the mill-side part 44. By using such a guiding device 26, the bar steel can be guided to the reversing mill 10 in the state where the steel is held between the side-part guiding blocks 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
