PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for signal analysis for a functional near-infrared spectroscope, the functional near-infrared spectroscope, and a signal analysis program for accurately extracting components to be tested from a detection signal by fNIRS regarding the method and system for signal analysis for the functional near-infrared spectroscope, the functional near-infrared spectroscope, and the signal analysis program for analyzing a signal detected by the functional near-infrared spectroscope. SOLUTION: The method for signal analysis for the functional near-infrared spectroscope, functional near-infrared spectroscope analyzes the signal detected by the functional near-infrared spectroscope. The method includes a signal-obtaining procedure of obtaining the signal detected by the functional near-infrared spectroscope and an analytic procedure for performing multiple resolution analysis using wavelet transformation to the signal obtained by the signal-obtaining procedure.
