The invention relates to chain reversible transfer agents used for a RAFT polymerisation and belonging to a dithioester, xanthate or a trithiocarbonate family comprising a group of formula (I), wherein R is a group containing at least one active ester function or a group of formula (II), wherein R' is a group containing at least one L-amide function, and L is selected between biological ligands, mono- or disaccharides, lipids, colorants, fluorescent molecules, polymer chains and solid carriers (II).
