The riveting device includes a machine stand (14) and a tool head (1) containing a header (2). The tool head can be adjusted on the stand on a hexapod (16) composed of six rods (15). The tool head is fixed to the hexapod. The hexapod is used to implement a wobbling motion of the tool head relative to the header. The riveting process is further described.
