The truck has a traction drive and a main brake (9). An optical signal unit (15) is arranged in the truck for producing a brake light signal, where the signal unit is activatable automatically during operation of the main brake. A control unit is in connection with the optical signal unit and the signal unit is activatable if the control unit is operated additionally. A traction drive controller is connected to the signal unit.
