A device for preventing a collision to a target is provided to improve the reflecting signal receiving sensitivity by restricting the output of a transmitted frequency signal from leaking to another receiver by measuring the distance between objects by transmitting or receiving the frequency signals of different polarized waves. A device for preventing a collision to a target is composed of: an active reflector(10) installed on a moving object, a fixed object or relatively moving objects(1a,1b) in a pair with a transceiver(100) to prevent interference with the transceiver by transmitting and receiving frequency signals of different polarized waves, mix the frequency signal received from the transceiver with a local oscillation frequency signal, and then transmit the mixed signal to the transceiver; and the transceiver installed on the moving object, the fixed object or the relatively moving objects in a pair with the active reflector to prevent interference with the active reflector by transmitting and receiving the frequency signals of different polarized waves, measure the distance between the objects by receiving the frequency signal reflected from the active reflector, display the measured distance as numbers, and keep a safe distance between the objects by generating a collision warning sound every time when the measured distance corresponds to a pre-input collision possible distance.
