摘要 A single site palladium catalyst complex is provided to realize a catalyst complex for polymerizing a polar monomer in a controlled state, and polymerizing a polar monomer with olefin under common reaction conditions. A catalyst composition includes a palladium metal center chelated by at least one ligand having a structure according to a formula. In the formula, R^1-R^14 are independently selected from hydrogen; halogen; and C_1-C_20 alkyl, C_3-C_20 cycloalkyl, C_2-C_20 alkenyl, C_2-C_20 alkynyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, phenyl, biphenyl, C_1-C_20 alkoxilate, C_1-C_20 alkoxy, C_2-C_20 alkenyloxy, C_2-C_20 alkynyloxy, aryloxy, C_2-C_20 alkoxycarbonyl, C_1-C_20 alkylthio, C_1-C_20 alkylsulfonyl, C_1-C_20 alkylsulfinyl, silyl, and substituents selected from derivatives. R^15 is selected from -SO_3, -SO_2N(R^18), -CO_2, -PO_3, -AsO_3, -SiO_2, AND -C(CF_3)_2O. R^18 is selected from hydrogen; halogen; and C_1-C_20 alkyl, C_3-C_20 cycloalkyl, C_2-C_20 alkenyl, C_2-C_20 alkynyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl, phenyl, biphenyl, C_1-C_20 alkoxilate, C_1-C_20 alkoxy, C_2-C_20 alkenyloxy, C_2-C_20 alkynyloxy, aryloxy, C_2-C_20 alkoxycarbonyl, C_1-C_20 alkylthio, C_1-C_20 alkylsulfonyl, C_1-C_20 alkylsulfinyl, silyl, and substituents selected from derivatives. R^1-R^10 are not hydrogen. When R^2, R^4, R^7, and R^9 are hydrogen, any one of R^1, R^5, R^6, and R^10 is not CH_3, CF_3, F, SMe_2, biphenyl or phenoxy. R^15 is -SO_3, -CO_2, -PO_3, -AsO_3, or -SiO_2, any one of R^1, R^5, R^6, and R^10 is not a polarity group.
