<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a function setting device for easily setting a function whose priority is high for a user regardless of the setting order of functions. <P>SOLUTION: A host device 1 is provided with a function setting part 13 for setting a function to be used when performing processing for a printer 2 which performs print processing by using at least one function among a plurality of functions, and for setting the detail conditions of the selected function by selecting at least one function; a database retrieving part 16 for acquiring function restriction information showing the detail conditions which can not be set for functions or a plurality of functions which are not simultaneously achieved and the detail conditions from an incorporated function restriction information database 15, and for extracting the function having the same content as the acquired function restriction information is set from all the functions whose setting has been completed by the function setting part 13 and a warning information display processing part 17 for making a display device 3 dislay a warning mark showing that all the extracted functions cannot be set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
