PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of defective connection when a head slider and a suspension are connected electrically. SOLUTION: An HGA 200 is provided with a head slider 105 having a head element part 122, and a suspension 110 to which the head slider 105 is attached. The suspension 110 has a lead 201, a flexure 202, and a load beam 203. A bonding pad 123 of the head slider 105 is formed on the head slider side 105c excluding an air bearing plane (ABS) 105a opposing to the magnetic disk and the back 105b opposite to the ABS 105a, The lead 201 is provided with a bonding pad 204 joined with a bonding pad 123 by a conductive joint material at one side of the end part.
