PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting tool for wires capable of easily connecting wires with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This connecting tool is composed of a connecting tool main body 5 having a base member 3, and a pressing member 4 for pressing the wires 2 to the base member 3, and the pressing member 4 has a pinching/holding portion 15 for holding the wires 2 in a state of pinching it with the base member 3, and a pressing portion 16 for pressing and holding the wires 2 in the direction of a phase different from the direction for pinching and holding the wires 2 by the pinching/holding portion 15, The pressing portion 16 is composed of a conical projection. The pressing member 4 comprises a holding portion 25 for holding the wires 2 in the direction different from the direction for pinching and holding the wires 2 by the pinching/holding portion 15 approximately by 90 degrees.
