PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner where dust removed by a dust-removing means is prevented from being stuck again to a filter. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner 10 is provided with: a pleats filter (filter) 94 provided in the middle of a suction air duct from a dust suction port for sucking the dust to the suction opening 24A of a motor-driven blower 24 in a vacuum cleaner main body 11; a driving gear 27, a gear 96A and a dust-removing protrusion (dust-removing means) 83 for removing the dust stuck to the pleats filter 94; and a driving motor (driving source) M for driving the driving gear 27 etc. The vacuum cleaner 10 is provided with a voltmeter (negative pressure detection means) V for detecting that influence of suction negative pressure by the blower 24 no longer operates.
