A garment incorporating a protective face mask for filtering airborne particulates is provided. The garment outwardly has the appearance of a conventional shirt, sweater or jacket, yet incorporates a convenient, easy to use, and readily accessible protective mask that is always available to the wearer and is ready for use on short notice.
