The injector has a drive piston (37) actuated by a piezo-actuator and limiting an actuator pressure chamber (49). The chamber (49) is arranged in a tapped blind hole (39) that is formed in the drive piston. A nozzle needle (11) with an end is limited by the chamber (49) and is directly guided with a guidance surface (41) into the hole (39). The needle has a piston section (43) that is accommodated along a partial hub of the needle in a piston guide (55), where the guide is designed as a through hole. The guide is formed in a casing that surrounds the needle.
