<p>An ink cartridge includes an ink container, ink supply port, ink cartridge holder, a first engagement section, a second engagement section and a support member, wherein the ink container and the holder are separate members and fitted together detach ably. Said ink container is provided with an ink storage chamber, the second engagement section and the support member, on the bottom of which is provided an ink supply port for supplying the ink contained in the ink container to the ink supply head. The ink cartridge holder has the first engagement section. It is possible to reduce the printing cost for the user, and it is advantageous to protect the environment. Simultaneously, its construction is simple and can be assembled conveniently.</p> |
