There are provided a pattern identifying system, a pattern identifying method, and a pattern identifying program capable of improving the calculation accuracy of an erroneous reception probability and guaranteeing a stable security intensity. A pattern identifying system (10, 10a) includes a first probability calculation unit (32) and a second probability calculation unit (33) connected to the first probability calculation unit (32). The first probability calculation unit (32) calculates a first probability PFCR according to the number n of the corresponding characteristic points cs1 to csn, cf1 to cfn indicating a plurality of corresponding points in the characteristic points of the first pattern s1 to sns and the characteristic points of the second pattern f1 to fnf. The first probability PFCR indicates the probability of existence of a third pattern having a greater number of corresponding characteristic points than the number n of the corresponding characteristic points with respect to the first pattern. The second probability calculation unit (33) references the first probability PFCR and calculates an erroneous reception probability PFAR indicating the probability that the first pattern and the second pattern are erroneously correlated. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
