A DLP(Digital Light Processor) lighting lens system is provided to secure same performance by using lenses less than the number of lenses of a conventional optical lens system and to produce a compact optical engine by reducing the optical length. A DLP lighting lens system is composed of: a first lens of which both surfaces(S4,S5) are spherical; a second lens of which both surfaces(S6,S7) are DOE(Diffraction Optical Elements) type to refract the light having passed through the first lens and correct chromatic aberration; and a third lens having both spherical surfaces to refract the light having passed through the second lens. Both surfaces of the second lens are aspherical. An iris for regulating the light intensity of an optical system is disposed between the second and third lenses.
