<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a video with a resolution converted into that of a display device, regardless of the resolution of the video. <P>SOLUTION: The resolution of a video signal is determined from the frequency, by checking the frequency of the synchronizing signal of the video signal. Then, the resolution of the video signal is converted, by increasing or decreasing the scale of the video expressed with the video signal so as to match with the resolution of the display device, and displaying the video on the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
