摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger built-in type catalyst combustion device excellent in durability, with little heat radiation and high efficiency, not exhausting combustible gas even at starting or in case that heat value is less and the temperature of the catalyst is low. <P>SOLUTION: A combustion catalyst 32 serving as a burner and a cooling tube 33 serving as a combustion gas heat exchanger are integrated by housing them in one container 31. A flame extinguishing plate 34 for preventing back fire toward upstream side is arranged at upstream side of the combustion catalyst 32. A supply gas temperature sensor 35a is arranged at upstream side of the flame extinguishing plate 34, a combustion catalyst layer temperature sensor 35b is arranged to the combustion catalyst 32, and a combustion catalyst layer outlet temperature sensor 35c is arranged at downstream side of the combustion catalyst layer.
