摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent tube unit which can get a uniform luminous color on a screen without depending on temperature characteristics of a light source when installed with a downright backlight device even if four-wavelength fluorescent tube is used, for example, in order to expand a color reproduction range. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent tube unit 1 is provided with two straight tubes 13, 14 and two plugs 11, 16. The plugs 11, 16 are inserted into a terminal socket of an inverter circuit to drive a CCFL. These plugs 11, 16 hold tips of lead wires drawn from each of electrodes of the CCFLs (straight tubes 13, 14) neighboring each other. Each electrode of a plurality of the CCFLs connected with the plugs are connected through lead wires to each other so that differences of luminous colors of the CCFLs generated in a longitudinal direction of each of CCFLs may be compensated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
