<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preparing a thin slice specimen capable of preparing a good thin slice specimen on slide glass in a more reduced time by more reduced labor by stretching the wrinkles or shrink formed in a thin slice during slicing to enhance the close adhesion and fixing the thin slice with the slide glass, and to provide a method of preparing the thin slice specimen. <P>SOLUTION: The method has a microtome for slicing a solid sample by a knife, a humidifier for bonding moisture to a carrier tape, a thin slice feed means for adsorbing the thin slice to the carrier tape by the adsorbing force of the bonded moisture on the carrier tape to send out the same, a transfer means for coating the surface of the slide glass with water to transfer the thin slice to the slide glass from the carrier tape by the adsorbing force of the coating water, a stretching device for heating the slide glass by which the thin slice is adsorbed and for evaporating the moisture to stretch the thin slice and a slide glass transfer means for feeding the slide glass with the thin slice. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
