<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that fingerprint verification processing is time consuming when operating the access authentication of an information processor by using fingerprint. <P>SOLUTION: A mouse device equipped with a fingerprint sensor as the pointing device of an information processor registers gesture data showing the orbit of the movement of its own equipment and fingerprint data generated based on a fingerprint image from the fingerprint sensor in registration information for each individual. When recognizing a predetermined trigger signal, the mouse device selects the gesture data corresponding to the gesture data generated afterward from the registration information, and verifies the fingerprint data as a pair with the selected gesture data with the fingerprint data generated after the input of the trigger signal, and outputs the success/failure of access authentication based on the result of verification to the information processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
