<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignitor wherein the number of components, the number of assembling man-hours, and the thermal stress can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In this ignitor, an ignition coil unit formed of an iron core, a primary coil and a secondary coil is received in a case, and the ignitor and a connector for an external connection are also arranged in that case.
