PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system easily and rapidly acquiring desired information. SOLUTION: In this information processing system, a terminal 11 transmits an object image including an image of a retrieval object acquiring related information to an information provision server 13 having a model dictionary and an image recognition engine designated by a user from model dictionaries and image recognition engines registered in an index list received from an index server 12. The information provision server 13 recognizes the retrieval object inside the object image by use of the designated model dictionary and image recognition engine, acquires model information related to the retrieval object from a model dictionary storage part 42, and transmits it to the terminal 11.
