PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing with a sensor which is capable of compactly mounting the sensor for detecting load on a vehicle, sensitively sensing the load on a wheel, and reducing cost during mass production. SOLUTION: The wheel bearing in which the rolling body 3 of double row is provided between the external member 1 and the internal member 2, is provided with the sensor unit 21. The sensor unit 21 is composed of the ring member 22 fixed on the internal peripheral surface of the external member 1 of the stationary side member, and the plurality of strain sensors 23 for measuring the strain of the ring member 22. The shape of the cross-section of the ring member 22 is formed in a groove shape having the contact ring parts and non-contact ring parts for being in contact and not in contact with the internal surface of the external member 1 respectively. The contact ring parts of both the side are made thicker than the non contact ring parts. The strain sensors 23 are adhered on the non-contact ring parts.
