PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a delivering port surface of a recording head from being damaged by paper jamming, etc. SOLUTION: A side face of a recording element substrate 1100 of the recording head 1001 is sealed by a first sealing resin 1307. An electrical connection part to a wiring substrate 1300 fixed to a supporting plate is sealed by a second sealing resin 1308. For preventing a medium to be recorded which is bent by paper jamming or the like from coming into contact with the delivering port surface of the recording element substrate 1100, a third sealing resin 1309 which projects by a predetermined height on a front face of the wiring substrate 1300 is coated along a side edge of the recording element substrate 1100.
