PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility mat beneficial in cost and maintenance and a facility mat composing it. SOLUTION: Frame bars consisting of straight or L-shaped thin and long members having a rectangular cross section and strip-shaped or T-shaped frame plates connected along the frame bars are properly combined to form an I-figured, L-figured or T-figured mat frame unit, and all the frame bars of the mat frame units are continuously joined at the outer circumference to form a mat frame. A facility mat base is obtained by inserting an under mat having the same thickness with the frame plates into the space in the mat frame.
